Private guided walking tour (2,30 hours). I will give you the opportunity to discover and understand the history of the mythical Omaha Beach of June 6, 1944. We will cross through the famous German strong point, WN 62 and walk on the beach in the Easy Red Sector. The viewing points will allow you to see the beach and the escarpment from the perspectives of both sides, that of the GI’s and of the German soldiers.
I will also speak about the lesser known history of the “Mulberry” and “Gooseberry” harbors on Omaha Beach during the Battle of Normandy.
We will then walk to the American Military Cemetery.

Walking tour 2: from Exit E3 to Exit E1.

The history of June 6, 1944 on Omaha Beach is so complex and rich in events that the battlefield history deserves a specially dedicated 2,30 hours tour.
For this tour we will walk through the famous German strong point WN 62 and onto the beach (Easy Red Sector) where the new monument paying tribute to the Naval Combat Demolition Units is situated. We will then stop at the monument dedicated to Natives American soldiers who participated in Operation Overlord. We will return via a beautiful path offering a commanding view on the beach, I will give explanations about the lesser known history of the Omaha Beach harbors.
